Sinful Wings

 Kai here, final time.  I got everything on my side pretty much told so I'm just giving the epilogue.   We'll start with Kareena.  She's still having to serve that fucking Bird Bitch, but her responsibilities just seem to be archiving information and stuff.  So I do get to talk to her, make sure I'm okay, and listen to her vent about working with Cliff and apparently two others who aren't thrilled with her existence, but what are they gonna do? Royce is...he's back in Kansas, finishing up his police training, though afterwards, he said he's going to be joining TRIAS's combat section.  That's good and all, I just hope Mom and Dad don't run him through the ringer. And I?  I'm Doc's That Guy Kai now.  I figured that he can help me work with whatever the book wants me to do, even if it occasionally shows a random page full of writings about things.  I don't really understand it, but if the book wants me to see it, then I guess I see it. A

 Hey, Kai here. I'm gonna be honest.  After I started drawing those symbols and stuff on the ground, I...I don't remember anything.  Like...It was like someone put me into auto-pilot.  Maybe it was the vambrace taking over.  Maybe it was that person in  the vambrace. Maybe I was so overwhelmed with everything, I just let the book be in charge.   Honestly, all of it sounds reasonable, and I don't remember a damn thing to point which one it is.   Kareena told me about what happened.  How, as I was drawing the sigils, Robin and them came in with the missing piece of the Newborn.  How the magic of the markings caused a near-instantaneous revival of the Newborn and made it shoot up out of the ground. I don't know how I got out, but Kar told me it was for the best I don't ask.  Then I heard her mumble something about how transformations are agonizing.  Having read the post Doc wrote about Cliff, I think I have a pretty good idea what happened. To get me, pretty fucking ou
