A lead!

Kai was taken by KRAKEN!  Dr. Ferris practically confirmed it in his latest posting at this time!

Finally something I can work with.  I need to head to his parents' place to walk Kai's dog anyway so now's a perfect time to yell at them for being so...so...damn ignorant and obtuse!

And maybe now they will FINALLY tell Royce and I what the hell's going on!  Oh those two!

Oh, um...before I forget, I found that Valravn person again.  I wanted her to tell me why Kai seemed important to her, yet all she told me was that, as a feather, my questions mean nothing to her.

And for some reason, when I tried to attack her, I...I couldn't.  I couldn't move a muscle.  it scares me that she apparently may have that kind of power over me.  But I never accepted being her pawn, so I need to find a way to get around that the next time we meet.  Maybe Kai's book can help with that.

I don't know.  But this all feels wrong now.

 Kai here, final time.  I got everything on my side pretty much told so I'm just giving the epilogue.   We'll start with Kareena.  She's still having to serve that fucking Bird Bitch, but her responsibilities just seem to be archiving information and stuff.  So I do get to talk to her, make sure I'm okay, and listen to her vent about working with Cliff and apparently two others who aren't thrilled with her existence, but what are they gonna do? Part 4 of Non-Vault 22 Hell. I heard/sensed the fight going on with Tyler and Doc not far away, but I didn't approach because I started getting a sense that, I needed to get to the Newborn's corpse.  Compelled, almost.  Who knew the Compulsion extended to more than just writing, huh? Hi, my name's Kai, but you can call me whatever the fuck you want because I don't care.  I'm just writing this thing because my therapist thinks it'll help.  Oh yeah, writing down stupid thoughts makes me feel better already. Anyway, I know Mom and Dad are going to read this, so I guess this is really so my parents can see my mental state.  I think it's a shitty state, but I didn't want to move my brain there in the first place.
