Topeka's been hit

 Called Mom and Dad, learned that Topeka got a double whammy of Feral Forest.  Apparently some group decided that we weren't dying out fast enough and brought in some of the forest's weeds, only for their little hideout to be hit by one of the forest's seeds.  

The irony is probably lost on them, but the TRIAS institute and even the Governor had issued a mass evacuation and vacated the place.  I hope Royce's family is okay, and Wren, if you're reading this, I promise to reimburse you somehow for taking care of my dog.

I'm also hoping that Karika Jones and her family's okay. 

I wish alot of people I know are okay...is okay even the right word to use anymore?

I mean, if anyone's reading this blogs and journals, you know this isn't normal.  There shouldn't be giant rapidly growing trees that turn people into animals.  There shouldn't be birds that turn into people and then back into birds again.  There shouldn't be large squirrels yelling about being the Fear of Vermin.

Speaking of that critter, seen him again.  He was terrorizing some teen before a redneck shot it and both ran off before the thing reconstituted his head.  Have to give him props for being determined.

Anyway, just wanted to update you guys, if anyone's still capable of accessing a computer, or at least possessing the ability to read.

Doc's still recovering, Royce's arm's healing pretty good despite being hit by ice, and Kalloway's trying to fix his sword.

Yeah. Yet I have one.  It's white-ish, has a black wet something in place of a nose, it has eyes somewhere , and it thinks its a dog. I need some advice

Kai here. I need some advice on how to go about dealing with my mess.  And yes, I still consider that fucking forest my mess. I need to clean it up and I need help in deciphering this damn book's words.  They all turned into strange symbols that I can't read and doesn't look like anything I ever seen before.  When they aren't wiggling.  And it's kinda like that wiggling in that you know the letter's stationary, but you see it move because you're that tired.  But you aren't tired. Anyway, before you ask, I know for a fact that as soon as I seek out TRIAS, my parents will chain me into a room and try to deal with it themselves and I'm not going to let that happen. Also, Kareena vanished.  Royce said that he was talking to her one minute and then suddenly, she was gone, with only a feather floating in place before falling to the ground.  So Bird Bitch has her.  Yay.  Tony's pissed about that too, because we still know next to NOTHING about Bir

Update on Pet!

It turns out it's a Samoyed-Great Pyrenese mix.  Kareena got mad when I brought it to work and called it a dustbunny from hell.  Then her speech devolved to baby speak as she talked to my fluffnut of a dog. Royce thinks the dog is adorable, too, but all of us kinda just switch around what gender the dog is.  And then we all christened the dog as Flufflebutt.  I do not regret this decision.  It also sure as hell beats my other name of Bellybutton Lint, but details. Nothing new is showing up in my art book, everything seems to be going normally for me now, no more book store being attacked...Only thing that's weird is that Kareena had a dream about some bird lady leering over her.  And her description of her matches mine right down to the color of the beak tip. I don't recall telling Kar all the details, but its weird how she got all the details right.  Shit, gtg.  Dog needs to be fed.  Laters.
