Kai here. I need some advice on how to go about dealing with my mess.  And yes, I still consider that fucking forest my mess. I need to clean it up and I need help in deciphering this damn book's words.  They all turned into strange symbols that I can't read and doesn't look like anything I ever seen before.  When they aren't wiggling.  And it's kinda like that wiggling in that you know the letter's stationary, but you see it move because you're that tired.  But you aren't tired. Anyway, before you ask, I know for a fact that as soon as I seek out TRIAS, my parents will chain me into a room and try to deal with it themselves and I'm not going to let that happen. Also, Kareena vanished.  Royce said that he was talking to her one minute and then suddenly, she was gone, with only a feather floating in place before falling to the ground.  So Bird Bitch has her.  Yay.  Tony's pissed about that too, because we still know next to NOTHING about...

Um, hey everyone.  It's me, Kai. I want to start this off with apologizing.  I'm sorry. I'm sorry for this.  I had the book and it had the patterns to help summon that metal thing, and then probably summon that tree thing, too.  I don't know.  I don't know what all those circles and lines were meant to do.  I'm just sorry I gave those assholes them and helped make this mess. Kareena told me it wasn't my fault. Royce told me I did it under duress. Tony told me I wasn't to blame for what happened. But that doesn't matter, because I still gave those patterns to them.  I helped bring this here, to Earth.  Against my will or not, I still had a hand in it, and I'm sorry.  I'm sorry for all those people that died or was transformed or whatever.  I'm sorry.  Dear God I'm so sorry. Alright.  Kai only woke up for alittle bit, but not long enough to answer anything. But there is more to the story I need to add. After we got out of the city, a vehicle with KRAKEN agents rammed into us, smacking us into a ditch and making the car unusable. We left the vehicle and Tony used what look to be tranq darts on a few agents as Terrance used a flash grenade.  Royce and I did our best to keep Kai away from those damn monsters when, to my absolute surprise, a man teleported in-between us and the agents. And I swear to you, I am not making this up, but he shouted bang and a bolt of lightning came out of, I think it was either his hand or his finger.  I couldn't tell because it was lightning and those tend to be pretty bright.  The next guy he somehow froze into place before causing a spike of ice to spear through him. Well, I don't know how to be concise so fuck it.  The world is ending and I have not even got a chance to vandalize a Starbucks yet.  Okay, okay.  I need to take dee-WHY AM I TYPING THAT DOWN I DON"T NEED TO! We just arrived in Seattle and I can honestly say I wish I was here on vacation.  I always wanted to see the Space Needle up close.  Maybe take a few pictures, enjoy my time, maybe vandalize the local Starbucks, normal things. But instead, I had to go steal a car, not let Royce know, and then barely escape a group of people in body armor that weren't police.  And the odd thing is, they all had the TRIAS name patched onto their uniforms' left arm.  I thought it was just a research institute, not a military unit! And I think I heard one of them mention Kai, but I can't be certain as I was trying very hard not to be seen or heard as they went by. Well, I'm here now, car at the ready, hoping against hope that Kai is both okay and that I don't blackout anywhere.  I guess Royce and now just have to play the waiting game.  I don't know what's going on, and no one is telling me anything.  I am only getting snippets from Dr. Ferris's blog, and even then...

Hello, it's Kareena and I have a few things to update on this blog.  As well as inform seemingly interested parties besides Mr. Tony. First and more importantly, Royce's family was willing to help put Flufflebutt up for about a week, but they are not sure if they could handle anything more than that.  Though Royce's older sibling, I believe their name is Wren?  I think?  I was trying to listen but they kept switching to Mandarin Chinese and I was tempted to have my phone translate the entire conversation.  She said that if we weren't back within the week, she can look after the dog alittle longer, though she would probably charge me.  I told her to go ahead.  I was asking them to look after an animal that wasn't mine.  Though why Royce's parents were giving a time limit for the dog now and not before is alittle odd.  I wonder if Royce was hiding the adorable fluff from them until now... Hello, Kareena here. I need to apologize for taking so long in posting.  I was preoccupied with some developments.  Namely, my sleepwalking/temporary possessions are causing me to wake up to having things I know I shouldn't have. Like a cellphone, a laptop, a duffle bag full of my clothes, a purse full of money I know my mother nor I had before, and two bus tickets to Seattle, with one of the tickets being for Royce.  Why I would even want to go there, I have no idea, but apparently I'm being subtly told to go and take Royce with me.  Though why I have no clue.  But at least that bird bitch isn't simply taking me and teleporting me to the city without ANYTHING to my name. And what's worse, is that if Royce and I do go, who would look after Flufflebutt?!  That adorable fluffy critter needs his daily walks!  I should ask if Royce's parents would look after the fluff monster while we're in Seattle...
